Well, this is a typical motif on this kind of saree. The Dongria tribe makes the most exquisite hand embroidered shawls. Mainly made by young unwed girls for their husband to be, the mountains depict the Niyamgiri hills where the tribe lives. The motifs have been adapted by the Sambalpuri weavers to make these exquisite sarees. Care - Dry clean preferred Hand wash in cold water and dry in shade. Starching is not required. Use a medium hot iron to keep it looking fresh. It does not come with fall or pekoe work.
